MANGO TART TROPICAL
A kettle soured imperial Berliner Weisse. We used loads of mango and passion fruit a few days into fermentation to give our house yeast time to do the hard work first. Lactose added to provide a sweetness that compliments the mango and passionfruit as well as balancing the sourness.

Maybe a typo on their sheet, this is listed as 33B.Exp.027.MkII but that wouldn't make sense as that's already the Japanese Rice Lager. Anyways, this has middling grain on the nose and a soft gold body with little foam. Flavour is reasonably brightness and some sweetness with citrus notes. Mouthfeel is refreshing. It's decent enough though rather thin and simple.

On tap at 33B, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light mango, light lacto, and citrus. Flavour is along the same lines, with tropical fruits, light lacto, and gentle citrus. Bright and tropical. Very good.
