Very nice helles. Lots of crisp barley and a hint of mercury. Golden pour with good head. Crisp finish. Easy drinking lager done right. Tap at Curious Cafe.

Poured from the tap. Clear blonde with small white head. Tons of grain with a mild herbal sweetness (almost medicinal).

Can from Firefly, Vancouver
Slow hand Munich helles, 5, can Greenish blond colour, slight haze. Wheat bread, crisp, but not exciting, some paper, medium bitterness missing to provide enough hop quality.

Bright, pale gold. Thin head. A little green apple up front, along some grainy pale malts. Quite sweet, too much so, and the malts are a bit sticky as a result. So not the best balance.

On tap at Slow Hand, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp toasted grains and a little herbal character. Flavour Is along the same lines, with lots of herbal notes, some grass and toasted grains. A little too herbal, but pleasant enough.

Faint lemon on the nose, has weak yellow body with little foam. Flavour is yeasty grain, mouthfeel is dry and chalky. This reminds me of the low alcohol beers of Europe - that's not a compliment.
