Rich and malty German amber lager. Complex bready and toasty flavors with a light spice in the finish.

On tap at The Bakery, pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Nose brings out bready malt, dry toffee and some light bitterness. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt, moderate bitterness and a hint of toffee. Clean and drinkable, with good crispness. They must've fixed this from previous batches. Good stuff.

Cloudy amber colour. The aroma is slightly earthy. It has the mouthfeel of a Märzen, actually without the oily feeling of some German ones, but there is some light acidity that is offputting, the malt flavour is a bit husky and stale.
Not exciting, and quite off-target.

The aroma is vague sour medium grain, has muddy reddish brown body and modest foam. Flavour is soft muddy malt. There's this semi elegant crispness on the mouth but it's weak. This is a pretty tepid märzen.
