Our rotating Sour IPA, Chaka Khan is brewed with raw wheat, flaked oats, and lactose milk sugar. Chaka is lightly soured with our house souring culture, and volume 3 was generously dryhopped with mosaic cryo and simcoe hops. After fermenting with a house kveik culture, volume 3 was conditioned on fresh blueberries and vanilla

Smells of murky berry reminiscent of armpit, just wrong really. Looks like it's pink at least, but has no foam. Flavour is bitter berry, soft vanilla, sharp fruit skin, kind of off putting in its balance. Has a cloying aftertaste. The whole thing is kind of awkward, overpowering.

Pinkish with a bit of purple. No head, and opaque. Milkshakey taste, bueberry, lots of lactose and vanilla sugars. To me the balance goes a bit too far in the milkshake direction...both sour and IPA get shoved aside in this smoothie.

Taster. Appearance: murky purple with a white head. Aroma: fruity hops with some blueberry notes. Taste: along the same lines with lots of vanilla, quite dry. Overall: good one.

Draught at the brewery
Murky pale purple colour. Moderately sweet, it has a strong fruity component, mostly zesty citrus, a bit of berry, and a touch of vanilla; there are some tannins increasing the bitterness feeling, but they seem to balance the rest rather than offending it.
Very pleasant.
