Tap. Hazy amber color with beige head. Aroma is hop pellets, grapefruity hops, gummi bears. Taste is gummi bears, petroleum, hop pellets. Oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Just ok.

Pours brown with a reddish hue. The frothy head settles but lingers for the duration. An aroma of papaya and light citrus greets the nose. Stranger undertones as well: butterscotch, old shoe, warm cream. The taste is bittersweet, tangy, with cherry and other fruity notes battling strongly with the caramel for the upper hand. The finish is more tangy than sweet, and is the only part of the beer that does not quite work for me. Here especially the flavors seem to battle it out rather than flowing into each other. Medium bodied with a nicely balanced level of carbonation. Overall, still quite good.

Amber with large beige head. Aroma is exotic fruit, papaya, hones, grass, slight resin, toasty malt. Taste is quite sour honey, oily stuff, very fresh and hoppy, not bitter. Good drinkabilty, not cloggy. Nice.

On tap at Tribaun. Pours very dark red brown, with a decent lingering head. Aroma is lots of fruit and lots of caramel and biscuit. Flavour is big toffee, apple, distinct strawberry note and then a savoury biscuit finish. Certainly not the standard brown ale (personally would have this under APA or amber ale), with the fruity hops adding a delicious new dimension.
