Aroma of malts, some fruits, caramel, light raisins, hops. Flavour is malty caramel with a moderate hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Not quite a ’hop gun’.

Drink this quite a bit, but it's frankly uneven. This bottle is one of the iffy ones. Pours brown murky with a good but porous head. Nose is caramel with funky hops, pine. Also pine in the mouth wrapped up in brown sugar maltiness. Well balanced. I remember stone fruit and spice but this one has hints of gym towel.

Fles 33cl thuis gedeeld. Fruitig, wat pine, wat caramel, flink hoppig, licht klef. Veel IPA-tonen voor een brown ale. (11-10-2020).

Clear brilliant amber brown, at first tall macropore beige head, thickens after a while, good retention and lacing. Aroma slightly toasted sweet malt, light lemon, red fruit, caramel. Smooth taste, medium sweet and light bitter, malty backbone, caramel, light red fruit. Dry malty sweetbitter aftertaste, dried fruit notes, some cardboard. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, easy to drink, pleasant, very nice.

light-os brown ale komlót nem sokat érzek benne, talán csak egy kis simcoe-t de oly könnyen csúszik mint taknyon a ló.

It's not a brown ale, it's a dark ish ipa. Red in color. Not nutty or anything close to brown. Very well done for an ipa though. super clean hop forward beer, great modern american hop combo. Superb. D&S Dresden

On tap at Kraftpaule, pours an opaque dark orange with a small white head. Nose brings out earthy hops, bready malt, and cloudy yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy hops, bready malt, and yeast. A little dirty, but it's decent.

Can picked up from Bierothek, München, and consumed at home, Attenkirchen, Sunday 3rd November 2019 cooking a Butternut Squash and Lentil Soup and listening to Warmduscher - Tainted Lunch. Pours hazy brown with an off white head, soft mouthfeel. This is a lovely brown ale, hoppiness abounds, a little citrus amongst the usual brown ale characteristics but it's still a brown ale. Enjoying this.
