Utilising three times the hops of our Far East IPA and a whopping 11% alcohol, this beer is no joke. And yet, you may think this beer would be aggressively bitter and over balanced, the opposite is true. The huge malt bill makes for a rich body that smooths out the hop character making a more juicy and citrus hop experience that is seemingly less bitter than our Far East IPA. But be careful, while the malt can balance the hops, the hops can mellow the strength of the alcohol making this beer deceptively easy to drink.

medium amber color. Beautiful apricot crumble, apples and orange pekoe character. Full malty character. Semi sweet. Very rounded and balanced for a triple ipa. Never too booze and hop character remains through out. Very good beer.

Tap at the HCMC brewpub. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt, sweet sticky tropical fruits, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet, light bitter with a smooth, rich caramel malt, fruity, light dry pepper spice, light warm alcohol bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. The alcohol is very well hidden. Rather good!
