Deep amber colour with just a touch of haze, so it definitely has that west coast sort of SNPA-ish classic look. Medium head. Chewy amber malts, with a bit of oxidation and cheesy hop sort of nose. Super chewy on the palate. Lots of bitterness, but it's totally cheesy, These hops aren't fresh enough, and the malts are very chewy. Tough to drink this.

Reasonably good brownish clear copper body and modest foam, smooth bright hops on the nose with just a hint of malt. Flavour is a good balance between hop and malt, both present. Mouthfeel is a little thin for this kind of beer, could be fuller. Nice though, reasonably well made, solid.

473ml can. Pours a hazy copper with a large, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves chunky lacing. Sweet aroma of biscuit malt, toffee, orange, grapefruit rind and piney hops. Sweet flavour of bready pale malt, caramel, orange, white grapefruit, indistinct tropical fruit and pine in a dry, bitter, floral hop finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. A nice Pale Ale.

From my wife: pours copper clear with a white head. Aroma is toffee, pine, malt. Taste is malty. Lightly bitter. Easy to drink. Malty aftertaste. OK.
