Nice soft berry juice aroma of no distinction, not that I've ever tasted a salal berry before to know. Has a good pink head and a deep bright purple body. Flavour is soft sweet juice, resembles plum and a bit of blueberry. There may be some soft grain in there but it's hard to detect. Mouthfeel is full though. The fruitiness isn't bad but the rest of it could use more distinction.
