Bacchus is the mischievous god of wine. Made with fox grapes from our 40-year-old vines, this dry pyment is a unique combination of honey and history in a playful and subtle wine.

Light and fresh with soft citrus notes and a delicate touch of tannin. This fox grape and honey wine pairs perfectly with light pastas and charcuterie.

Poured from 750mL bottle (leftovers from lot LB180405A). Clear amber orange with no head. Soft slightly vinous forward honey mead. Surprisingly decent, wondering if the percentage of wine vs mead qualifies it under Ratebeer/Brewver standards, but not bad.

Nice pinkness, smooth fruitiness works well with soft honey. Flavour is much the same and wine notes work well with the sweetness. Understated and in a good way.
