Sweet, sticky, it’s ok, just could be better. Bit weird marketing, too, since cacao is hardly rare in Peru, which is to chocolate what Ethiopia is to coffee.

Smells of soft roasted bread on a sunday afternoon in autumn. Has a soft semi-cloudy yellow body, tiny foam on top. Flavour is an awkward (funky, in a bad way) grain mix, sort of peppery, a little too sweet for this kind of brew. Mouthfeel is crisp, full enough. This is adequate but lacking, give it some love boys.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy golden colour. A bit smelly, poop. Soft mouthfeel, some residual sweetness, weird but not bad fermentation character, lightly fruity and tannic.
Not bad.
