Clearish gold with a rich white head. Light lemon, grape peel and some funk. Light sour notes, light lemon and some pepper. Solid.

On tap at House of Funk, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle brett upfront, with a touch of saison yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with rustic saison yeast, a hint of brett, and gentle tart citrus. Bright and refreshing, but under-bretted.

Hazy and quite pale. Just a thin head. Tart, i swear a bit of brett. Nice, a beer of subtlety, clean sweet pale malts, mellow bugs and just enough hop.

Taster. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: funky and hoppy. Taste: pretty similar, but with noticable Belgian Saison characthers. Overall: ok.

Smells softly of detergent, has weak yellow body with little head. Flavour is sharp sweet grains, some kind of awkward funkiness (probably not the kind that they intended to advertise). Mouthfeel has just a little carbonation and dryness. Pretty boring.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy blond colour. Dry mouthfeel with bold saison yeast character, spicy and herbaceous. A bit of finishing astringency.
Very good and clean Saison.
