Med brown, sticky, raisiny. Boozy, slight tartness and vinous merlot character. Crazy whacky.

The aroma is a nice port character, all wood and sweet grape. Good brown body. Flavour is good red wine and sweet fruit, very much like a port. Mouthfeel is full and the abv is invisible. This is a great effort.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy and full dark amber colour. Interesting aroma, biscuit, grapes, very old mead, oxidized. Good body strength, moderately sweet, with strong oxidation, it reminds me of some old bottle of German mead, the alcohol is evident too, the grapes are sour and a bit acetic.
I appreciate the idea more than the result.

On tap at Storm, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is intense, with lots of red wine barrels, with red berries. Flavour is along the same lines, with red wine barrels, red berries, and alcohol. The red wine really comes through nicely. Very good.
