Deep red brown color, thick tan foam. Earthy aroma. Flavor is caramel sweet malt with a mild earthy, floral bitterness. A little crispiness at the finish. A little woody taste underneath.

On tap at Trans Canada, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dry bready malt and a hint of caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt, a touch of caramel and very light resins. Underhopped and very watery. Not thrilling.

Nice clear red body, okay sofy beige foam. Very soft weak sugar on the nose, kind of bad. Flavour is weak sugary nothingness. Fu enough on the mouth I suppose. It's missing a reason to drink it.
