Poured from the tap. Dark brown with red tinge and beige nitro head. Subdued roast malt, light oat, hint of fruit. Mild and easy drinking.

Draught at the brewery, nitro
Black colour with thick nitro head. Smooth, dry, bready. Light drinking, but it's mild, and the nitro muffles the little quality here.

On tap at the brewery. Has a perfect light beige nitro head and semi-black body. Smells of good sharp barley but nothing else. Flavour is mellow soft barley and no complexity. Mouthfeel is full at least. This is a serviceable Irish stout but nothing you haven't tasted before.

On nitro tap at Parkside, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a medium beige head. Aroma brings out smooth toasted oats and gentle roast. Flavour is similar, with toasted oats, light roast, and some cocoa. Not much depth but it's clean and eminently drinkable. Solid.

Near black, with a thick nitro head. Roast first, then black malt, toffee and dark fruits...nice aroma. Sweet up front, light body, again a hint of fruit, roasty black malts. Low bitterness means this is more Cork-style, but really well done.
