Bomber bottle bought from Ridge Brewing. Has a heavily carbonated dark brown body, lots of light off white foam on top.The aroma is a very vegetably barley. The flavour is lots of mealy dark barley and coffee with a sweet full finish. Alcohol is well hidden, this is quite nice in fact.

Amber-brown, not much head. Cocoa-fudgey nose. Soft, sweet, then a touch of sourness in the finish. A porter, sure, but not a baltic one. Way too yeasty and not the right malt character at all.

Draught at the brewery
Dark mahogany colour, near black. Some caramel aroma, lightly nutty. Bold, but it could have more body, there is some residual bitterness, too much play with the roasted malts, traces of liquorice, lightbstale feeling. The alcohol is easily perceived too.
Not too exciting.

Draught at the brewery
Dark brown color. Some caramel flavor, some character from a Lager yeast, but also some more acidity than expected and not much depth; the light residual sweetness helps. More a Dunkler Bock than a Baltic Porter. Quite good eventually.
