Honey sweetness, balanced by a light smokiness, a dark, wheat malt body, and a dry, clove finish.

On tap at the brewery. Has a soft caramel aroma, medium foam on top of a darker brown body. Flavour is burnt barley with coffee notes and some sugary sweetness. Medium finish. Not a bad effort, drinkable at least.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a reddish deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is along the same lines, with toasted nuts, toasted bready malt and a little earth. Flavour is very light on the smoke, with toasted malt, some nuttiness and just a hint of smoke. Clean and smooth, but not overly interesting. Decent.
