Dark amber-brown. Soft body, caramel, moderate bitterness. The alcohol shows here, which is about right for 5.8% cask. Otherwise light body.

Dark brown colour; compact beige head. The aroma is more expressive than the flavour, dark bread; the mouthfeel is suffering from the lack of carbonation, it has light caramel.
Simple beer, but not bad.

Very black body and a bit of antique white head on top. Very faint licorice aroma. Flavour is mellow barley with roasted grain hints. Kind of a watery mouthfeel. Not too great if you ask me.

On cask at Callister, pours a deep dark caramel brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted English bready malt and a hint of toffee. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt and a hint of toffee. Pretty authentically English. Decent.
