This all-malt Pale Ale is dry, pleasantly hoppy and flavourful. An easy drinking Canadian style amber ale.
Editor’s note: available in pubs as house brand, for example The Met 1892 Pale Ale, in New Westminster’s pub The Met

Foamy head of modest density on top of a copper-brown body that's well carbonated. The aroma is slowly rotting cabbage with a hint of graham cracker. Flavour is a mellow mix of breadiness with a slightly crisp finish and a tinny aftertaste. This stuff was pretty cheap and shows, but not a bad taster for the price level.

Draught at The Met, New Westminster, as The Met 1892 Pale Ale
There is a light fruity malt aroma, simple. Poor flavor, almost no malt, very light sweetness and light butter, very light fruity trace; the bitterness is low.
Not offensive, but too simple.

Golden colour. The aroma is woody, slightly metallic and fairly cardboardy. Tastes mainly of cardboard, vague woody hops. Maybe some malt creaminess in there. Low bitterness. Can’t find huge fault, but it would be crushed if I rated to style - this is no pale ale.
