Soft creamy head tops a clear gold liquid. Soft caramel aroma with nothing else to mention. Flavour is tinny malt with a hint of donkey hair. Sharp weird funk aftertaste that does nothing for anyone. I need to finish this one quick as some guy thinks I'm ogling his fat girlfriend while she plays the lotto machine at this sleazy Isle of Man pub - like dude seriously, that land whale ain't worth fighting for. And for that matter, neither is this beer.

Cask at the Southampton Arms on Christmas Eve 2010. Copper with a thin whitish head of foam. Sweetish aroma, malty and a little pungent. Grassy, herby hops in-mouth, rounded by biscuit malt and some berry fruits. Bitter sweet aftertaste, with an accumulating bitterness. Light mouthfeel. Not had Manx beer before. Nice little treat for Christmas.
