Cask at Reading Beer Festival. Dark brown with a thin cream head. Rich fruity berry and lemon with a big pine hit a smooth chocolate behind. Big flavours, perfectly balanced and oh-so-more-ish. A top-notch black IPA, probably beer of the festival for me. Yeah!

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Gryphon, Bristol 2/9/2016. Deep brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Easy drinking dark beer, with a touch of citrus and berry fruits, leafy hops and bready malts, leading to a lingering, dryish, finish. Fine.
