Taste comprises dark fruits rinds, spice, pine needle, dusty hops, toffee, light charr. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with dusty hop bitterness. Level 6 bottleshare. Can. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Touch of dark chocolate malts. Modest dark fruits. Light semi dry spicy finish. Okay beer but a dull CDA.

Can watching the surfers in Barbados, Freights Bay, 7th April 19. Pours black, some head. Aroma has cocoa, roasty notes, citrus, fruit. Taste is smooth, quite rich, citrus, pine, fruit. Needs a bit more umph, but good for the low ABV

440ml can. Pours black with a big frothy tan head, good retention too. Aroma of roasted malts, piney hops, a little coffee. Taste is bitter, piney, roasted malt, coffee, smooth and creamy. Medium body, soft carbonation. This is good I just feel it could do with a little more intensity, but as it is now, it's very sessionable.

Can from the brewery. Aroma a mix of floral, spice, pine and malty chocolate. Dark cola brown. Opaque enough. Thick shaving foam light beige head. Light bitter. Matches the aroma. Light-medium bodied. Thin but creamy. Low key fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Pleasant and chocolatey without being mindblowing.

That's it, man: brown muddy black body and modest head. Cocoa and oatmeal on the nose, sweet and rank. Flavour is heavily modified motor oil, sweet Ghanaian chocolate, and Salvadorean coffee. Could be stronger on the mouth. Sort of a sessionable IPA if such a thing exists (I think this is it).
