Keg at New Forest Beer Fest. Aroma has stone fruit and citrus. A bitter edge. Hazy orange. Thin foamy translucent white head. Medium-bitter. Sour edge. Underlying fruity sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Polite Pale.

Tight white head on hazy dark golden coloured body. Pine, malt & citrus aroma. Medium bodied, soft over the tongue with a lively back. Pine, orange, cereal & grainy tastes with a fruity finish. Standard stuff.

Keg, third, at the brewpub. Shared with Finn. Bubbly white head over hazed golden body, clingy lacing. Moderate smell of lemon and pineapple. Similar fruity taste character of lemon and pineapple. Ends fruity and dry. Fair enough. (Southampton 21.10.2019).

(On tap) Cloudy Pale amber / gold with slight white head. Nice fruity aroma - stone fruit and pine. Full bodied with good bright carbonation. Great taste. Nice fruity start - pine, apricot, citrus - then some biscuity bready malt comes in followed by some nice hoppy bitterness. Very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Decent but small head and foggy yellow body. Soft aroma of pamplemousse. Flavour is a wet ashtray mixed with lemon juice smuggled back to Gatwick from Ibiza. Medium finish. A rather harsh rendition of a pale ale but what the Hell, I'll drink it.

Cask (Dancing Man, Southampton) - Golden with a slight haze and a small head. Hop resins, mandarin and peach in the aroma. Hoppy and zesty taste with mandarin, grapefruit and hop resins.

Cask at the 7th Basingstoke Octoberfest. A pale amber colour with a loose white head; citrus aroma; grapefruit taste; and a crisp sweet finish. A simple Golden Ale.
