After a few beers - using the stairs might be difficult but if you take your time it could prove to be less painful. Strong ruby beer.

Appearance- chestnut brown with slightly ruby tinges, a small fizzy beige head, clear. Aroma- caramel malt, nutty malt, raisin, fruity hop hints. Taste- nutty malt, hints of chocolate, toffee, very malt- forward, easy drinking.

Okay beige head and dark copper body. Soft murky barley aroma. Flavour is soft chocolate and coffee, okay mouthfeel leaning to a little watery. Rather boring if I’m being kind.

Bottle courtesy of Mum and Keith, consumed at home Sunday 15th January 2017 whilst cooking Mechoui. Another half decent beer from Cottage Delight, ok so it’s no world-beating bitter but it’s fine. Pours chestnut brown with a slim off-white head. The aroma is clean, a little malty verging on clinical, but ok. It’s malty, low bitterness levels, a little soft creamy nutty edge, not much else but it’s fine. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
