On tap at Two Dogs Taproom. Pours hazy orange, medium white head. Hoppy, malty, caramel, fruit, citrus, orange, apricot. Sweetish with bitter finish. Medium bodied. Nice balances IPA.

Tap. Hazy amber with a modest white head. Pine and kumquat aroma. Med bodied, moderate carbonation. Slightly toasty bread, vague citrus, maybe too much pine. Dry and bitter (a little over the top with that too) at the end.

33cl bottle at Enza Café, Kanbayashi (just outside the snow monkey park). Pours hazy orange to amber without much head to speak of. Fruity aroma with citrus, tropical fruits, pine and notes of malt and herbs. Moderate to medium sweet with nice hoppy flavours and a notable, but balanced bitterness. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Quite delicious and a perfect refreshment after hours of monkey watching.

Poured into a shaker showing light filtration, sparse foam and a dry orangish-brown. The aroma shows a very light citric orange. The flavor shows a lot of the same with a bitterness that is heavily softened out by the orange flavors. Light bodied and heavily carbonated, this is a very fruit forward forward, simple and easy drinking IPA.

330ml bottle from Shinanoya. Poured into a tulip pint. Golden caramel color with a modest soapy off-white head. Fairly good lacing throughout. Pine needles, resin, biscuit and grain on the nose. Medium body, bitter on the palate with a touch malty sweetness. Slightly sticky texture but has some tea-like texture that peeks out as it warms up. Tap at Craft Heads, Tokyo. Hazy amber color, medtium-sized off-white head. Grapefruity, a bit fruity-caramelly aroma. Medium-bodied. Dry woody flavor with late bitterness. A bit fruity. Balanced. Different.

Draft at Bakujun. A citrusy hop floral aroma on a golden orange body. The taste is sweet & fruity with a pine bitter kick mid-mouth before mellowing back out into a semi-spicy fruitiness. A really nice solid IPA.
