Shared 500ml bottle. Pours almost black with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Taste is roasted malt, coffee, heavy barrel (oak), vanilla notes. Finish is harsh and acidic, with the oak being quite dominant.

Tap at The Brass Tap, Austin. Dark brown color, small beige head. Aroma has mocha and toasted malts. Medium-bodied. Coffee, sweetish caramalt, toastyness and alcohol. A bit thin for abv. Quite coffeish.

Aroma is motor oil, licorice, balsamic vinegar, vanilla beans, lots going on here. Has a great light head and jet black body, they get it right for sure and it looks perfect. Flavour is heavy licorice and more motor oi with a coffee finish. Big, bad, and beautiful. Great oily texture and a pleasure to swirl around in the mouth. This is a great big imperial stout, serious sipping business. Well done.

On tap at Stanleys Pizza. Pours a very dark brown with beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast and dark chocolate. Thick, chewy, roast, cocoa, bitter finish.
