From a 22 oz bottle shared at Watson Lake YKT. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Aroma of sweet alfalfa. Flavors of hay and pine. Moderatley bitter finish.

Well. Just finished watching one of Jean Claude Van Damme’s finest moments in Street Fighter, that surely calls for a beer. Tho not sure why this Yukon brew is leavin’ for NYC, I guess it depends what you want, but they’d be missing the big outdoors soon enough. Tho the entertainment scene’s prolly better in the big stink. So this one has a mdoest head and foggy golden body, nothing special, aroma of hops with a hint of english bitter and hazelnut. Good hoppy flavour with hints of malt and graham cracker, lotsa chocolate on this, not boulangerie kinda stuff but more NYC pharmacee kinda wafer chocolate. Not bad nonetheless. So where does a Yukoner shack up in the Big Apple anyway - just anywhere? Or is there like a Whitehorse district? So many questions, so few answers - welcome to Canada’s north.
