Draught at the brewery taproom
Black color with generous tan head. Mild aroma of dark malts, the spices give a light soapy character. Soft mouthfeel; it has some flavor of dark caramel and chocolate, not very deep, and some spices; a toasty touch in the end makes me think they maybe used toasted coconut; ordinary bitterness.
Decent Porter, a bit soapy.

Minimal head and dark brown-black body. Chocolate aroma amid barley and swamp water. Flavour is chocolate and coffee, simple, no oily mouthfeel and slightly watery. Rather boring and not well made.
