This balanced golden copper coloured IPA has a big hop aroma of citrus and passionfruit which combines with resinous and pine hop flavors leading to a softly bitter finish. This is the clear choice for hop-heads!

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver, 6.2% ABV, 7 may 2024, 2 months old
Biscuity aroma. Biscuity malt flavour, with light residual sugars, strong bitterness, resins, in general not getting hop quality; a bit rough. Quite old style.

Can at Owen's Landing, Calgary. Medium copper with just a light haze under a small off white head that fades slowly to a sheet leaving tight lace. Nose is caramel malts with lots of pine and grass. Light+ caramel sweetness with a medium pine bitterness. Mouth is slightly thin with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. Good but not breaking any ground. 7/3+/7+/3/14+

On tap at Grizzly Paw, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out piney hops upfront, with toasted biscuity malt on the underside. Flavour is along the same lines, with crisp piney hops, dry biscuity malt and a bit of a grassy bite. Piney and biting, with a dry finish. Clean and well-made. Solid.

473ml can. Pours a murky dark orange with a medium, fluffy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of caramel malt, orange, grapefruit, mango, pineapple and pine. Sweet, dank flavour of caramel malt, grapefruit, orange rind, apricot, peach and pine resin with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. A pleasant surprise. Easily their best beer.
