This one is a weak grainy lager with no complexity. Should have been better. Sampled at their restaurant in the centre of Prague.

Keg at the brewpub, Prague Day 1 of Fergus and Sarah’s Czech jaunt. 29/09/14. Clear light amber / copper coloured pour with lasting off white foamy head. Aroma is sweet nutty caramel, salty sweet, mineral, some toffee apple and raisin. Flavour is nutty sweet caramel, mineral, salt, toasted malts. Palate is flat sweet and dull, low carbonation. Lingering raisin fruits.

Tap(@U tří růží, Staré Město):Deep golden, a bit unclear, firm and stable creamy off-white head; mild to moderate - unfortunately served pretty cold - sweetish-malty nose with a delicate herbal-hoppy background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied for a beer of 5.6%, but soft at least; lingering malty to caramelly finish, balanced by a good dash of herbal hops.Good, but not overwhelming…
