0,5 enkeltmannspakke fra lokal supermercado, på balconasen i Funchal: brunsvart med ok skum. Deilig aroma og smak av mørkrøstede malter, kaffe, 70%-chokolader og fin furunålsbitterhet. Tørr avslutning med mersmak, definitivt den beste i 8.6-serien.

Can 50 cl. Clear, dark brown with an orange hue and a lacing, beige head. Sweet roast nose with some licorice. Solid body, sweet and roasty with those licorice notes shining throughout. Subdued bitterness. A surprisingly smooth and pleasant Sweet Stout. 230924

0,5l can from E.Leclerc LANGRES, France. F: medium, tanned, quick gone. C: very dark brown. A: roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, cocoa, nutty, dark fruits. T: medium to full malty base, roasted tones, cocoa, bit nutty, plums, bit weak bitterness, medium carbonation, dry on the palate, bit better than I expected, partially enjoyed.

500 ml can, from a minimarket in Funchal. ABV is 7.9%. Black colour, moderate beige head. Moderate roasty aroma, a hint of chocolate. Fairly smooth flavour, very subdued roastiness, some sweetness but not too much, again a hint of chocolate.

Aroma: dark malt, treacle, bread, esters. Taste: toasted, estery, bready. Treacle, moderate alcohol, hop. Medium sweet and bitter. Mouth feel: medium body, appropriate carbonation. Summary: acceptable.
