The darkest member of the 8.6 pack. Black and robust with an exceptionally strong body. This lager is made from burnt barley, like roasted coffee beans for a full and intense flavour. It has a light and creamy texture and a pleasantly sweet taste finish. 8.6 Black is brewed with natural mineral water from our own spring and the best barley malt and hops. It takes character to tame this impressive black wolf.

Can from a Fran Prix, Montreuil, Paris. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of treacle and light coffee. Taste is toffee and faint dark chocolate. Light sweet finish.

500ml can from RusBeerShop in Moscow. Pours opaque black with a tall beige head. Aroma is treacle, coffee, weakly roasted. Taste is medium syrupy sweet, treacle, coffee. Light bitter finish.

500 ml can. Pours a dark brown with full tannish head. Aromas of cream, light cocoa, and soft roasted malts. Flavors of whipped creamy coffee, bitter chocolate, and metallic roasted malts. Fairly sweet overall.

Canned 500ml. -from Auchan Desenzano, Italy. Almost black coloured, small pale beige head, caramel and weak roast in the nose. Sweet malty, light roasted, caramel, weak grainy and surprisingly not so exposed alcohol. Colud be worse.

500ml dimpled can. Pours a clear dark brown with red hue and a medium, frothy, long lasting, beige head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, caramel, bread and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, licorice, brown sugar, chocolate and light ash with a bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a smooth, but thin texture and soft carbonation. Better than I thought, the ABV is well hidden.
