On tap at Steamworks, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Nose brings out crisp crackery malt, and dry floral hop. Flavour is very dry and crackery, with light floral notes, and dry crackery malt. Well-balanced and highly drinkable. Very good.

Has a strong hoppiness on the nose, no head and an ugly yellow body. Flavour is a simple hoppy affair with just a hint of lemon. It’s also got a weak palate. There are better cascadian ales out there, so aside from completeness you really shouldn’t bother with this one.

Draught at the brewpub, as Cascadia Golden Ale
A good sample of the style, lean and crispy; well balanced, fairly dry.
