(Tap sample @ MBCC 2017 Green Session, Copenhagen) Pours hazy medium gold with a white head. Notes of lemon-lime, pine resin, pale malt, grain, mixed tropical fruit, grass, dry flowers, hoppy like an IPA but with that lager yeast quality coming through in the very clean fermentation and slightly more exposed grain. Fair amount of booze heat augments moderate bitterness. Medium bodied, touch oily, fairly soft carb. Not bad but not a patch on a typical DIPA from Cloudwater, I am just not a fan of that hoppy lager vibe in comparison to the ester-heavy English yeast profiles popular in contemporary IPAs.

Can from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham, shared with Deanso in Chiang Mai. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head and a little broken lace. The aroma is yeast, grassy citrus hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a super fresh, young, crisp, tropical citrus fruity, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

440ml can from Ales by Mail. Canned 110417. Pours clear golden with a large foamy white head. Aroma of stingy herbal hops, grass, pine, hay, crisp maltiness and earthiness. Taste is stingy, sweetish and slightly herbal with some grass, hay, malts and citrus. Finish is sweetish, bready malty and biscuity with some pine, citrus, herbal hops and earthiness. Sweet and heavy, not super fresh anymore.
