Sein sattes tiefschwarz bis mokkafarbenes Aussehen mit leuchtend roten Reflexen wird durch einen cremigen Schaum gekrönt. Der röstmalz-aromatische Duft erinnert an dunkles Brot und frischen Kaffee. Am Gaumen fließt der samtig weiche Malzgeschmack, ummantelt von einer

Can courtesy of and shared with Deanso. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin off white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is roasty malt, caramel, burnt treacle. The flavour is moderate sweet with a dry, roasty, light smoke, caramel, luqoirice, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

1L can (as gift). Pours black with beige head. Aroma is potatos, roast, metallic notes. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, malt, metallic notes, potatos. Body feels light, but it’s rather sugary so it doesn’t feel very watery. Carbonation is on the high side. Overall: drinkable.

No niezły to schwarzbier czuc tu Bamberg w nozdrzach. Mocno palone, gleboka ciemno brazowa prawie czarna barwa nieprzeswitujace piwo z jasno brazowawa pianka spora i trwala nawet. Malo akcentow slodowych przewaza palonosc ziaren kawy i nawet wedzonego slodu. Lekka nostalgia za Rauchbier mi się objawila. W smaku jeszcze sporo wedzonych sliwek, rodzynek i gryczanego miodu. Bardzo dobry Schwarzbier.

*Bottle in Langkawi, Malaysia. Price about 1€ (4.90 MYR). Smooth dark beer with hints of roasted chocolate. Moderate bitterness, easy to drink with a fresh but still roasty bitter aftertaste and hints of malty sweetness. Nice stuff (probably the weather helped me liking it).
