Thanks to quack-duck for that one (as Laupheimer Kellerbier). Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry, some fine spicy-malty notes. Grasy-dry background. Finish well balanced. Quite drinkable. Good one!

(bottle, 33cl, courtesy of Quack-Duck, as Laupheimer Kellerbier, 5.2% abv) Hazy, greenish golden colour with a blond and tall foamy head. Doughy pale malty aroma with notes of white bread, backed by flowery and mildly spicy hops. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly doughy pale malt character with a delicately but rounded hoppy backbone, leading into a sweet-bitter finish with dough and grains in the aftertaste. Balanced and more-ish brew. 22.VII.16

Tap at the Heimatfest. Fine flowery aromatic aroma, cloudy pale golden, white lace. Medium light chewy body, nice grassy and flowery finish.
