It’s time to go back to the beginning. For the second time, after the award winning GROM BBA, we aged our GROM on Bourbon barrels. Heaven Hill to be precise. We love our GROM on bourbon barrels. We are going to do it more often and we will call it The Beast of Bourbon!

Bottle. Nice soft and balanced barrel work, smooth bourbon, dark malt, caramel, some liquorice. Medium sweet and mild bitter, above medium body. Smooth, likeable brew.

Bottle. Dark brown with creamy foam. Aroma: bourbon barrel , vanilla, a little dill, baked goods, poppy seeds, chocolate, a little dried fruits. Slightly sweet taste, caramel, quite a lot of bourbon, baked goods, chocolate, wine, warms, goes well with Iron Maiden.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een pikzwart bier met een dun bruinig schuim. Het heeft een aroma van Bourbon en mint. De smaak is vol, warm, zacht zoet, bourbon en vanille.

Stor ölprovning med PQ hos mig. Här klunkar vi på och könner då vaniljglass och choklad samt svagt bourbon. Mjuk fin mjuk efterrätts öl. Vaniljglass bourbon 🥃.. Högre betyg kan den inte få då tex en bourbon lagrad från The Bruery är mycket bättre

Bottle from Craft Logic at home on Christmas. Almost solid black opaque pour with cola brown edges and dissipating tan color head. Aroma is deep coffee and leather, alcohol, wood, vanilla. Taste is overwhelmingly bitter and boozy upfront, flavor doesn’t really come in until after. Flavor follows aroma in a good way, lots of coffee bitterness with slight leather tang and lots of bourbon notes of vanilla and wood and spice. Lasting huge alcohol. But definitely drinkable. Palate is rich but not heavy, flows smoothly. Excellent huge beer, fitting for a special occasion.

Bottle at home. Black with tan head. Roasty, chocolate, coffee, bourbon, vanilla. Classic, no nonsense imperial stout through and through. Mid-bitter roasty finish.
