While not a formally adopted measurement, the banana equivalent dose remains a concise way to inform the public about relative radiation risks.
Our #EquivalentDose is a Chocolate Covered Banana-inspired Imperial Stout that was fermented with Arizona Cactus Honey before aging for nearly two years in a combination of bourbon barrels and ex-bourbon barrels that most recently held some of Superstition Meadery's world-class mead.
Post-barrel, this liquid was blended with an intensely potent small-batch beer built on our pilot system with mountains of real bananas for an utterly radiant fruit flavor. To complete the concept, we sent the full volume through a filter bed full of sweet, earthy cacao nibs for a decadent, chocolate-covered finish.

Amazing stuff, just how I like my bananas. Heavy, thick and rich. Pretty sweet, but not overly so. Bourbon, chocolate and candy bananas. Honey is pretty subtle, all in all great balance for so many things. Amazing

Bottle shared. Thanks Josh! Pours a pitch black with a half finger of brown head. Huge banana aromas with dark chocolate and bourbon all present. Smooth and thick on the palate with more creamy banana laffy taffy notes with bourbon, honey and cacao. Smooth finish with bourbon and banana brownies. Ridiculously good.
