Zalig amberbier ter herdenking van de vergeten rampen op ’t Vlie en West-Terschelling in 1666. Tijdens deze Tweede Engels-Nederlandse Zeeoorlog lieten tweeduizend eilanders en zeelieden het leven en werd West-Terschelling platgebrand.

Ingrediënten: ruw duinwater, Noordzee, (gerookte) gerstemout, hop, zeewier, suiker, gist.
Met liefde voor de Wadden gebrouwen door Henriëtte Waal en Bojan Bajic i.s.m. De Naeckte Brouwers.

Bottle brought from Vlieland by a friend. Aroma is very soft smoked malt with caramel, light dried fruits, and a touch of yeast. Sweetish flavour and lightly bitter. Body is medium. Decent, but I would have liked this better with more smoke.

33 cl. Bottle @ de Zilte Rus in Oosterend, bought @ Spar Vlieland. Hazy amber with a white head. Yeasty aroma with a hint of smoke. Medium bitter taste with that typical meaty smoky sensation you get with smoked malts. Nicely carbonated and well brewed.

Smells like a sticky tripel, luckily doesn't taste it! Supermalty, with a bit of yeast. Tiny bit smoky dryness. Tasty enough!

33cl Bottle from SPAR Vlieland. Both breweries listed here are not (yet) mentioned on the label. Used to be from Selkiebrouwerij, which seems to be no longer existing. Anyway, copper amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of soft salty smoke, some caramel, light floral, light yeasty. Flavour is medium sweet, soft smoke, light salty, light fruity, bit of caramel, yeast, light-bitter finish with a hint of salty smoke. Light to medium bodied. Nice.
