Head reduced to tan rim in seconds; viscously pouring black beer. (Islay) maltwhisky. Tarr, tobacco, leather, Lapsan Souchong concentrate. Sweet - Islay malt - beetroot - earthy. Bit mineral as well, smoked. Fiery alcoholburn. Slick, viscous, but not heavy - if a tad sticky. Low carbonation. Quite good one. I'm sure there's Islay whisky here - why not mention it? Txs to Stef!

33cl bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours close to black with a modest, short-lived, brown head. Roasty aroma with peat, whisky, wood and vanilla. Smooth, sweet and flavourful with a dryish finish. Desserty and quite delicious sipper.

On tap at Valhalla, Zagreb. Black with beige head. Roasted, chocolate, lots of smoke, bourbon, soft smooth texture, bitter finish. Sweet. Full bodied.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, creamy, fading, tan head. Peaty, smoky, dark malty aroma, notes of dark caramel, some coffee, chocolate, liquorice, leather. Taste is peaty, smoky, roasty, spicy, dark malty, hints of leather, oyster, liquorice, chocolate, coffee, sweet-ish hints of dark caramel, treacle. Viscous texture, smooth, soft, slightly cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation. Well balanced, neither too sweet nor too peaty - very nice sipper.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of nice smokey peat, umami licorice, oyster, caramel, chocolate, mocha coffee and molasses. Taste has strong savory peat, heavy smoke, caramel, umami licorice, dark chocolate, mocha coffee, roasted malt, molasses and a long scotch forward peaty smokey finish. Really delicious, thick stouts and strong peaty scotch is such a happy marriage.

On tap at Valhalla Craft Beer Bar, Zagreb. Shared with Stipe. Jet black, minimal brown head. Lots of barrel, plastic, wood, peated whiskey. Burnt . Roasted malts underneath. In the flavour, whiskey and wood are taking over. Very dry, alcohol warmth, thick, dry. Burnt toast, burnt plastic, smoked wood in the finish. Lasting finish. Strong, boozy. Creamy texture.

On tap at Valhalla Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, small brownish head, whiskey and light leather in the nose. Sweet malty (subdued roast), alcohol, notes of whiskey, some chocolate and wood with rather boozy finish.
