Despite the bad bottling it's a very descent and soft porter. Lots of chocolate. No ott roasty notes. A bit too much crystal stickyness thu.

Mersea Island Beer Festival. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer, few pale tan bubbles for a head. Palate is light and crisp. Nice condition. Tangy dark malts and some roasty bitterness. Mild dark fruits. Crisp finish. Roasty linger. Standard stuff but clean.
