Cask at Head of Steam, Birmingham. Clear gold with small white top. Toasted malts, cardboard, old citrus fruits and gooseberry. Light bodied, slick and semi-drying. Just tastes stale to me but perfectly drinkable.

2/12/2021. Cask sample courtesy of Jeremy, cheers. Pours clear pale gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, grass, stone fruits, herb, pine and lemongrass. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation.

Hand-pulled half-pint at The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 30th October 2021. Clean and clear golden body, snow white crown on top. The aroma and taste are citrussy with lime like esters and flavours to the fore. Some malt action kicking in for some balance.
