Consumed as Waitrose English Vintage Cider. Pale gold/straw colour, some spotted white top. Aroma of white sugars, tart apples and peel. Its slick, somewhat tangy with apple juice but becomes more mellow . Bittersweet finish, a very mild hint of oak, slight warming alcohol going down. Not particularly complex in flavours but decent enough.

Had it as Waitrose English Vintage Cider (2022). Clear golden pour with a tiny white head. Aromas of tart apple, wood/oak, some cinnamon. Taste is quite similar. Well-rounded with a slightly boozy finish, but in a good way.

Danke an minutemat. Weicher, dunkel fruchtiger Beginn. Würzig nach rotem Apfel ohne starke Süße, trocken herb, zum Ende mit pelzigem Mundgefühl. Süffig, minimal alkoholisch, langer Nachgeschmack. Gefällt. 11/10/9/11/12/11

As Waitrose vintage cider 2016. A clear yellow/ green coloured pour with a fading fizz. Aroma is sweet woody apple, apple, sticky sugars. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, apple juice, woody bark notes, plain white sugar, little tang in the finish. Palate is medium sweet, sticky, moderate fine carbonation. Fair bit of alcohol warmth in the finish. High boost.

Bottle from the Waitrose on Glouscter Road. 2014 Vintage. Pours pale gold with a few bubbles. Aroma is very light - suggests apple vinegar? Nope. It’s just a little bit oaky. Funny how that came into the aroma. Finishes less than dry, but it’s very pleasant.
