This golden IPA has low to moderate bitterness and very distinctive tropical fruit notes from the premium American hops added late in the boil and during fermentation. Smooth, hoppy goodness.

On cask @ the Haymarket. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - orange and grapefruit. Taste - more nice tangy orange. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - yep another well nailed ipa by Great Heck.

Cask by handpump, half pint at Brigantes Bar & Brasserie. Stable pearl white head, good lacing. Hazy golden coloured body. Aroma of citrus, semi-dry. Moderate flavour of leafy hops and brown malts. Smooth bitter endnotes, mid-dry. Feels a bit watered in the mouth (York 10.07.2014).

Light bronze. Aroma is fruity, tangerine, red currant, and marmalade, slight chewiness but then the hops jump up. Good fruity APA, even if the don’t call it that.
