Chelmsford Summer Beer Fest. Cask. Opaque black - brown beer, short dark tan head. Palate is light and semi dry. Decent fine carbonation. Nice condition. Tangy rich dark malts, good dark chocolate. Tangy dark fruits, sweetish. Mild alcohol spice. Mild estery sweetness. Dark chocolate finish. I was still feeling the effect of the massive Wibblers Wobbly Otter but I recall the brewer saying something about Courage and this beer does have a Courage Imperial Stout vibe. Rich and drinkable.

Reminds me of Black Albert. No joke. Great use of yeast. Would be great barrel-aged. Stunningly smooth. Velvet. Blackcurrant Raw chocolate.
