Taylor explained: “ They make artisanal beers using locally sourced ingredients. Their head brewer Carl joined the team at XT and brought several of the speciality ingredients for the Wit beer.
“The pale cloudy wheat beer has a spiced edge and hints of orange from Sardinian orange peel. The beer is named for the 15 donkeys Carl has on his farm and who eat all his spent brewers grains.”

Keg at The Grapes/Beerd, Oxford, Friday 28th October 2016 Pours gold with a white head. Yeasty edge on the aroma but with that typical spice twist. Soft in the mouth, fruity with a little spiced orange. A little sweet but nonetheless, I really like this, best from XT/Animal for ages, great beer. A7 A5 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0

Cask at Amersham beer shop, Amersham, Bucks. A hazy light golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Fruity, yeasty, spice aroma. Tastes the same, fruity, orange, yeasty, spice. Rather thin.

Really good wit bier. Clove and coriander. Dry-hopped. Nicely done
