Pigs Ear Fest. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Smooth and dry palate, modest fine carbonation. Thin dark malts. Ripe fruits, tangy. Floral bitter finish. A bit dry and bitter. Wasn’t Elephant School supposed to be about pushing the boundaries a bit?

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’16, 29/11/16. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent tan covering. Nose is light roast, cocoa powder, charr, toffee. Taste comprises fruit rinds, light chocolate, toffee, roast malts. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, a touch watery and thin. So so.
