22 fl oz bottle. Pours slight cloudy deep orange with a fully gone head. Dry wooden and mild caramel malt, vague spiced note. Smooth mouthfeel. Sweet caramel malty, wooden vanilla and mild sweetness. Mixed with a light bitterness from a nice level of subdued hops base. Quite sweet and yet with a dry hoppy finish and a lasting wooden flavour.

Sweet malt and alcohol. Golden color with moderate carbonation. Just a little oak, but it is too hot from the alcohol.

Bomber courtesy of Gillard. Pours clear copper with gold edges and nearly no head. The smooth rounded aroma has notes of musty medium dark fruit, malts sweetness, some grainy malts and a bit of earthy hay. The taste feels syrupy to start with solid sugar malt sweetness, bright oak notes, fruity esters and a few tough to discern spices. It seems a bit jumbled and disjointed. Maybe a bit more age will bring it together.

22 oz bottle-pours a thin white head and copper color. Aroma is grain/medium malt, spice hops (Hallertau). Taste is sweet grain/medium malt, raw/spice hops (Hallertau) that clashes. Thanks jwc215 for sharing this with me.

Courtesy of Ryan. Thanks for bringing this one Ryan, as well as the awesome pickles. Pours brownish with white head, light lingering golden lacing. Aroma is fruity with notes of sweet fruits, banana, coconut, very faint notes of the oak. Taste has a little nutty feel, light oak and vanilla, fruity with smooth and sweet mouthfeeel.God warming abv, but the overall experience is rather on the low side. Sadly, the beer gets this near extract mouthfeel that just seem to be too upfront, and somehow ruin the experience.

Bomber bottle...slightly cloudy copper, with a beige head...oak + alcohol aromas with some honey...creamy smooth body...strong oak flavors...some hops, a bit of honey and a lot of alcohol...good though...may need more aging to mellow out the alcohol presence....and by the commercial description I can see the biscotti , but I don’t believe I’d ever pick that out on my own, as I only have biscotti about once a year or less

22 oz bottle. Pours a dark amber/orange color with a small slightly white head. Aroma is sweet, vanilla, and teeming with alcohol. Flavor is oak barrel vanilla, alcohol. Quite a warming beverage, given the alcohol content. Certainly not as special as their Choklat or Gemini, though since it was a gift, I’m not complaining.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet malty spice. The flavor is also sweet malty with notes of spices, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks Theis for sharing.

Sample at the Hopsnobbery Collective tasting on 12/10/08: Thanks to JaBier for sharing a bottle. Pours a clear yellow-orange color with a thin off-white head that recedes quickly. Very little lacing is evident. The nose consists of oak and citrusy hops. Medium body with flavors of oak, vanilla and caramel malt, plus a bit of hops. The finish is syrupy with an oaky vanilla aftertaste. Overall the beer is decent, but pretty overdressed for the actual contents.

Bottle provided by my friend, BlutoBlutarsky. Sent in a picture to be uploaded. Pours with a white, foamy head that goes, and a hazy golden-orange body. Some alcohol legs above the lacing. Aroma is sweet with oak, citrus hop, banana, and vanila. Taste is strongly of roasted coconut, with some vanilla and apricot. Behind the coconut there is a touch of sticky sweet almond nougat. Light carbonation and a sticky-syrupy mouthfeel, yet kind of on the thin side. I wish their was more oak in the character. Well hidden alcohol.
