A PALE MOSAIC is our American style IPA showcasing a fairly new hop variety called Mosaic. The beer begins with a base of German Pale Ale and Vienna malts, and is brewed for a light, crisp malt body. We use Oregon grown hops for bittering, targeting 60 IBU’s, and follow that up with a hefty whirlpool addition. Finally we dry-hop with Mosaic, Citra and Nugget to deliver a beer that is clean and complex with notes of pine resin, grapefruit pith and blueberries.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy golden pour, small wispy head. Flowery piney aroma, tangy hops bite at first, but then a rather unexciting finish. Nice flavor, hops linger

Can thanks to Grant. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong tropical fruit, dank, pine. Medium mouth, dank, juicy, pineapple, resin finish, very good.

Shaker pint draft at Banger’s Sausage and Beer Garden in Austin, Texas. The pour is a hazed orange golden with a smallish white head. The aroma is full of peach citrus and a bit of floral towards the back. The taste is the peach floral along with a nice gentle resin move then moves towards clean cracker malt and grain. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and a clean floral citrus finish. Nicely dank as it warms. Solid.

Had 10 oz. At the source. Aroma is over ripe fruits, pine, oranges. Malt. Flavor is havey on over ripe (juicy) fruits and a moderate level of pine. Bitterness is here but the fruit takes over. Wow, really nicely done!!
