To create this black beer we have taken a load of malts (Pilsner, Cara, Crystal, Brown, Chocolate and Roast!) and combined with Magnum, Columbus, Chinook and Savinjski Goldings to deliver a hoppy kick. The result is a Special Black Beer: a rich, strong, smooth and hoppy version of a Baltic Porter.

On tap at Fuggles Cafe Tonbridge. Black beer lasting tan head. Some dark chocolate on the aroma. Chocolate some tar in the mouth. Some dryness. Some tobacco. Interesting baltic porter. Very drinkable mouthfeel. No heaviness. Some dryness towards end. Dry cigar box flavour. I liked it. Very good.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden. Opaque dark brown. Foamy beige head. Espresso and cream. Underlying malts. A tangy streak. Thick. Creamy. Average-soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Noise.
